The condition of materials donated is important! For health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept items that are damaged, wet, moldy, buggy, have a strong odor, chewed, burnt or dirty.

You can bring donations to the library at any time during library hours.  You may leave them on the bench in the lobby or ask one of the library staff for assistance with a larger or heavier donation.

Up to five (5) medium sized boxes or bags will be accepted once a day.

If you would like a receipt for tax purposes, please see a librarian at the Information Desk.  It is helpful to have a count of each type of material (paperback, trade paperback*, hardcover, DVD, etc.) so this may be listed on your receipt.

*Trade paperback books are larger size paperbacks, similar in size to hardcover but with a soft cover.
